The Muse:
Margaux is the name awarded to a small area of vineyards in the regions of Bordeaux, France. Prized for it's wonderfully complex & perfumed Cabernet Sauvignon this candle is a tribute to the ethereal bouquet of the regions fine wines.

Expect wonderfully complex and intoxicating aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry and tuberose, leading to hints of mint, rose and orange rind, on a bed of vanilla oak and baltic amber.

The Bouquet:
Top Notes: Black Currant, Raspberry,Tuberose, Fig
Middle Notes: Mint, Rose, Orange Rind, Fresh Tobacco
Base Notes: Vanilla Oak, Baltic Amber

The Wine: Château Castelbruck, ‘Cuvée Bruyères’, Margaux 

Château Castelbruck is the second wine of Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, a 15 hectare Margaux estate between Soussans and Arsac bought by the current owners, the Schepper family, in the 60s. Soils are a combination of deep gravel, sand and clay. After a cold maceration, fermentation takes place in both concrete and stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in oak, 25% new, for 12 months followed by a further 8 months in stainless steel vats. The estate is HVE certified and managed sustainably. It is robust and savoury with complex blackcurrant, plum and herbal characters, supple tannins and a long, rich finish. This has the generous style of the 2015 vintage and is already very appealing.
