The Muse:
Inspired by the historical Bodegas in the Andalusian region of Spain where wines age for decades in oak barrels drawing on the role of oxygen to turn the wine to a rich, decadent nectar redolent of dried fruits, roasted nuts, patchouli and cashmere woods. Step inside a dark and airy Spanish bodegas and experience the sweet, nutty perfume that encapsulates the room as the liquid slowly evaporates into the air, a phenomenon called 'merma' or angels share.
The Bouquet:
Top Notes: White flowers, freesia, orange rind
Middle Notes: Roasted chestnut, tonka bean, nutmeg
Base Notes: Vanilla oak, patchouli cashmere woods

A gorgeous Reserva Rioja, the perfect Christmas wine with aromas of vanilla and sweet almonds with hints of leather in fine combination with the wood. The attack is generous and pleasant with intense spicy nuances, velvety tannins and a long moreish finish.
Option 2: Fernando de Castilla Classic Cream, DO Jerez-Xérès-Sherry NV
A classic Solera aged rich dessert wine. Fascinatingly complex with a light Christmas pudding nose of dried fruits, nuts, and a well flambéed crust. The rich concentrated flavours and tangy acidity are softened by a sweetness on the palate which brings it all together in a wonderfully balanced way.
