The Muse:
In the sun drenched hills of Napa Valley grow some of the world’s most silky & succulent Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot grapes, tiny perfumed berries that exude rich dark fruit aromas of plum, pomegranate and mulberry.
A deep & sultry bouquet that marries rich dark fruit with notes of luscious, sweet spice reminiscent of cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla - notes infused into the region’s wines from slow ageing in toasty oak barrels.
The Bouquet:
Top Notes: Black Plum, Pomegranate, Raspberry
Middle Notes: Clove Spice, Sweet Musk
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Vanilla Oak, Amber
The Wine: Peter Franus Proprietary Red blend 2018
A stunning Napa Valley Bordeaux blend that will delight even the most discerning of palates. Classic aromas of cassis, blackberry, bay, and hint of green olive. Secondary aromas include floral notes—rose petal and lavender—and dried herb—sage and thyme. Sweet toasty oak completes the package. The wine spends 18 months in 70% new French oak. It is only made in the very best vintages in very small quantities. Only 950 cases (6 x 750ml) are made.
